A documentary about Vindhya Warakagoda, a choreographer who travels to her homeland in Sri Lanka to create a cross cultural fusion work set on the dancers of the Channa Upuli Performing Arts Foundation. Behind the scenes footage of the dancers rehearsing in the studios of Deliwaha and on tour create an intimate connection to an ancient land. Warakagoda fuses a 2500 year old dance tradition with contemporary movement. Filming was shot on location in the busy streets of Deliwaha, the quiet countryside of the Cultural Triangle, and on one of Asia's major archealogical sites, Sigiriya.
